Lightstalker, que se compone de fotografías de gran formato, proyecciones y sonido envolvente, plantea un sólido puente de conexión intercultural, relacionando formas de expresión, como el flamenco, el buto o la danza contemporánea, con el lenguaje universal de las sensaciones, mas allá de razas y culturas.

El punto de partida
The starting point of this emotional circuit is "The Portrait" as a living piece. People often hide or minimize their feelings. My wish is to expose those feelings in a very honest way, starting with a sequence of portraits as a map of intimate experiences that will be projected (video installation). "The articulated portrait" will be a map of experiences that become specially close to us when the most genuine photographic instants are fused during the triggering of an emotion.
My goal is opening a door for the audience to leave the observer's roll and become empathic with the universal language of emotions
Mi objetivo no está en congelar un instante, sino en captar un proceso emocional, un mapa de experiencias vivas.
Sensaciones en proceso para intentar conectar con el imaginario colectivo de las emociones. El punto de partida.
My goal is not
La obra Lightstalker consiste en un total de doce fotografías hechas en toma única, en condiciones espaciales y lumínicas muy particulares y de dos canales de vídeo que emiten alternativamente sendas obras audiovisuales en alta definición de su serie inédita homónima.
The work Lightstalker consists of 12 photographs made in a unique shot, with particular conditions regarding space and light, and from two video channels which alternatively show audiovisual pieces in high definition from its homonym series.
Se trata de un proyecto, presentado recientemente en Times Square (Nueva York) y que será exhibido por la galería neoyorquina White Box el próximo año, en el que participan, además del fotógrafo David Maroto, el artista multimedia Jeldrick Schmuch VJ, el compositor Skeamo y al músico Angel Romero.
